Worlds Collide

Worlds Collide is an RTS game we make in Black Swan Games. The main purpose of the game is to make the RTS genre more approachable and easy to get into but while doing this not lose what makes RTS games fun being player expression, tactical gameplay, and micro management.

My role in the group:

  • I am a Game/Systems Designer and The Business Lead in a group of 20 Developers. 
  • Write weekly blog posts in Confluence, detailing changes and patches made to unit stats.
  • Utilize Google Sheets and Excel to maintain comprehensive data tables for all units and structures, presenting test results and insights during team meetings.
  • Actively adjust live game balance by fine-tuning unit statistics, loot distribution, and gameplay mechanics to optimize the player experience and anticipate post-launch adjustments.
  • Create one of the 3 races the Dwarfs. It has 4 Units and 2 Structures.
  • Manage the Social Media pages of the project.
  • Create the Design Document.
